We adore everything about Bethany and Oliver’s glamorous September wedding at Hodsock Priory. It was a gloriously sunny day filled with stylish touches and a lot of happiness. In fact, we don’t think Bethany stopped smiling once! Elegant, luxurious and next-level beautiful, here is all the late-summer wedding inspiration you’ll need. All photography by the wonderfully talented Esther Louise Triffitt.
Modern glamour bridal style
Bethany worked a contemporary luxe bridal vibe in her show-stopping fit and flare wedding dress. Featuring spaghetti straps, a cupped bodice and exposed boning, this super-chic, full-length gown was covered in intricate embellishment and statement embroidery. Our bride absolutely shimmered as she walked down the aisle! Bethany added simple drop pearl earrings and a glamorous cathedral length tulle veil with lace edging. A relaxed up-do finished the look. Her modern bouquet, featuring a mix of rusty peach and white roses, brough the golden wedding theme together perfectly. Doesn’t she look absolutely stunning?
Our groom, Oliver, opted for a stone-coloured jacket and waistcoat. He paired these with black trousers and tie, for a sharp, summery look.
The bridesmaids looked incredible dressed in oyster satin maxi dresses in a variety of styles and cuts. They carried smaller versions of Bethany’s beautiful bridal bouquet.
The sunny outdoor wedding ceremony
Hodsock in the sunshine is something else, and our couple were treated to some beautiful September weather for their romantic outdoor wedding ceremony. We love that Bethany and Oliver added their own personal style to our gazebo. They chose to decorate it with white candles and floral arrangements displayed on tiered Perspex shelves. The overall look was cool, contemporary and very luxurious.
Guests were treated to live music by a string duo, as they waited for the ceremony to begin. Our Georgian-style gazebo is tucked away in a secluded corner of Hodsock Priory’s idyllic gardens, making it the most picturesque setting for our bride and groom to exchange their vows.
White and gold wedding reception inspiration
Hodsock Priory’s Pavilion was transformed into a sophisticated, modern reception room for Bethany and Oliver’s wedding breakfast. With huge floor to ceiling windows letting the September sunshine pour in, the white and gold colour scheme added a crisp, contemporary feel.
Tables were dressed with sleek gold candlesticks and white tapered candles, while floating candles in glasses added a quirky touch. Simple floral arrangements of gypsophila and white and rusty roses added interest, while some tables featured an elevated centrepiece on golden stands.
We love Bethany and Oliver’s fun wedding favours, where they hid a scratchcard for each guest inside bespoke ‘For richer, for poorer’ envelopes. In keeping with the white and gold theme, our bride and groom opted for a white tiered wedding cake, complete with pearl embellishment.
The evening party at Hodsock Priory
Our bride and groom definitely know how to party! As the sun set, Hodsock came to life as the coolest of party venues. First Bethany and Oliver cut their wedding cake, before taking to the dancefloor for their first dance as Mr and Mrs.
Bethany made a quick change into a pair of fluffy sliders, before she joined her husband and their guests to dance the night away to the live band. The perfect end to a really special big day.
