Hodsock Priory is a beautiful country house wedding venue in the most idyllic of English countryside settings. Set in 800 picturesque acres on the border of Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire, our luxurious, exclusive-use venue is the kind of place that takes your breath away.
With a choice of picturesque indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, there are plenty of options for where to say your ‘I do’s. For a wow-factor ceremony you can exchange vows under our historic Tudor Gatehouse, or if you prefer an ‘English country garden’ feel, our Georgian-style gazebo in Hodsock’s formal gardens is just the place. We even have our own private woodlands where you can have your blessing surrounded by bluebells.
As well as romantic outdoor spaces, you can also make the most of Hodsock Priory’s enchanting period interiors, with a ceremony in our atmospheric Panelled Hall, chic Buchanan Hall or our grand Pavillion.
We also have 17 elegant bedrooms on-site, for you and your guests to relax in total luxury after the big day.

Hodsock Priory’s 2025 Open Day
We’d love to invite you to our country house wedding venue. Our friendly team can show you around the Priory and the grounds so you can really get a feel for what your big day could look like.
On 1st February 2025, from 10am to 3pm, we’ll be opening our doors for the Hodsock Priory Open Day. Whatever stage of planning you’re at, and whether you’re looking to book a 2025, 2026 or beyond wedding, this is the ideal opportunity to explore what we have to offer.
You’re welcome to drop in and wander freely through our tranquil gardens and take in the charm of the venue at your own pace. Our events team will be on hand all day to answer your questions. Or, if you prefer, you can book a one-to-one viewing for a more personalised experience. It’s completely up to you.
Join us for our Spring Wedding Showcase
We are also hosting a unique Spring Wedding Showcase on 16th March 2025, from 1pm – 4pm. This is an unmissable day packed full of stylish wedding inspiration, from cakes and flowers, to photographers and more. It’s your chance to see Hodsock Priory fully dressed for a wedding and looking its absolute best.
You’ll meet amazing wedding suppliers, as well as the Hodsock team who will be available throughout the day to offer guided tours of the venue and accommodation, as well as answer all your questions.
